About Us

Paula Mitchell-Bentley

Paula is the driving force and author of Green Colored Glasses.  She is the working mother of  2 a toddler and a teenager and wants to leave the planet in the best possible condition for her kids.  Her main focus in life is her family.  She believes that living green is a lifestyle, not just an idea.  Paula thinks that everyone can live a greener life through a series of tiny steps.  It doesn’t have to be one giant leap — just tiny steps towards improvement by many people can really make a huge impact on a global scale.

She is intrigued with the idea of upcycling art, how a change in perspective can take an object from the trash pile and move it into the treasure pile.  She is also very interested in sustainable living for average families and simple ways to live greener lives.  She wants to teach her children environmental responsibility and respect for the planet.

Previously, Paula has written on Green Upgrader, Triond, Helium and numerous other sites.  She also has a day job doing technical writing.

Mark Bentley

Mark is the guy behind the sceens who keeps the site running.  Usually Mark is to busy keeping the server happy, tweaking the site or doing site promotion to actually write much.  Given that he is a Comp Sci major and not and English Major, maybe this is a good thing for all involved.

Previously, Mark has written on Triond, Squidoo , Helium, Bukisa and several other sites.  Now he mainly focuses on developing, promoting and maintaining several websites.
