The baby counter is wrong. I don’t know how to fix it. Maybe Mark will at some point. The doctor’s have pushed the due date back by at least 10 days so far. Every time we talk to one of them, it seems to be a little later and a little later. The due date may even be as late as Mark’s birthday (September 1) at this point. I’m not sure. I try to block out alot of what the doctors say at these appointments. It may not be mature to point my fingers in my ears and sing “lalala” to myself during the consultations but it does help me sleep at night. I do believe this is a conspiracy to drag this, my final pregnancy, on into eternity. That’s right, I said final. If anyone ever, I repeat EVER, hears me talk of having another baby, I beg you to yell at me, threaten me, even hit me. We will never do this again! Future generations of our families will have to rely on others (Christopher, Joseph, heck, maybe even Jason) to reproduce as this baby store is officially closed!
Joseph called us on the weekend. It has been a long time! I mean a looooonnnnngggg time! Mark didn’t even recognize the sound of his own brother’s voice. He had no clue who it was! Mark claims that Joe was altering his voice so that he wouldn’t recognize it. I told Mark that Joe always sounds high pitched and girly on the phone! All is well as Joe continues his random travels through out the world. His path definitely seems to be meandering but if the pics on facebook are a fair representation, it looks like he’s having a great time! If you haven’t already, join the facebook group…Where in the world is Joseph Bentley? He’s certainly keeping everyone guessing! Hope you’re having a blast Joey. Love and miss you.
Christopher’s birthday is on Saturday and he has been hired on full time at Airdrie! We’ve been seeing him more and more lately which is great for us and the kids. Perhaps it’s time for me to renew my “single and available” brother in law ad again. Now that he’s recovered from the skiing mishap, he seems to be in tip top shape and ready to conquer the world. I’d love a hot nurse as a sister in law. That way between Christopher and his hot nurse girlfriend, I’d never have to see the doctor again. The family could just take care of everything!!! Kidding. I know I’ll have to promise Chris again that I won’t go near Airdrie near the end of the pregnancy. The last thing he wants to do is deliver his own niece/nephew.
Anyways, that’s it for now. Happy early Birthday Christopher! Also, a big shout out to my cousin Corey who turns 24 tomorrow. That’s right 24!!! And I used to babysit the little turd. How old does that make me??? Happy B-day Beaner!! Love/miss you bunches.
